On July 18, 2007 the San Diego County Fire Chief&#8217;s Association awarded El Cajon Fire&#8217;s Safety Educator Monica Zech the Fire &#038; Life Safety Educator of the Year Award for 2007.  This honor recognized Monica for her dedication to educating the public in injury prevention, not only in El Cajon, but throughout the County through lectures and through TV/radio/print media.</p>
