(El Cajon) - Congratulations To El Cajon's Newest Fire Academy Graduates!
El Cajon Fire Chief Mike Scott welcomed five new Paramedic-Firefighters to the department on January 27th. After going through the long hiring process and four weeks of intense fire academy training, Chief Scott presented Firefighter-Paramedic badges to Travis Dietrich, Jason Evenskaas, Simon Garcia, Joseph Howarth, and Jesse Wattson.
Graduation ceremonies were held at the Tom Owen Heartland Training Facility located at 1301 N. Marshall in El Cajon. These young men all had the desire and determination to become firefighters and theyve reached their goal - again congratulations!
