Note: We do not offer CPR Classes – check the yellow pages of your phone book.
- For Fire Code questions – please contact our Fire Marshal by calling (619) 441-1712. Or contact our Deputy Fire Marshal at (619) 441-1618.
- For School Tours of the Fire Station, or to have a fire crew visit your school please call (619) 441-1619 and speak to “Janna.”
- (Please Note) – Please call us at least a month in advance to schedule, and please keep in mind when a tour or visit is scheduled, that our fire crews are still in service for emergency 9-1-1 calls. If they do not arrive at the scheduled time, arrive late or have to leave early – or are not at the fire station when you arrive, please call (619) 441-1619 to re-schedule.
PUBLIC INFORMATION OFFICER & SAFETY EDUCATION:
For Safety Education or a career lecture for your school or group, please call our Safety Educator Monica Zech at (619) 441-1737. Monica is also the Public Information Officer for the El Cajon Fire Department & City of El Cajon.
Ms. Zech is available for safety talks dealing with fire safety, disaster preparedness and on traffic safety – also (EMS) fire career talks. Monica is available to speak to your group, school, parenting group, company safety meeting, company conference or military facility. Just give her a call (safety is her passion) or email your request to mzech@ci.el-cajon.ca.us or monicazech@cox.net.
