Congratulations to the graduating class of the 18th Heartland Fire Academy. Twenty-two young men graduated on April 13, 2008 at ceremonies held at the Ronald Reagan Community Center.
The graduates are Brad Avi, William, Bennett, Michael Caldwell, Brian Ciuchta, Correy Cooper, Jonathan Feliciano, Curtis Fleming, Miguel Flores, Brent Hannibal, Jeff Hubert, Greg O'Gorman John Oslovar, David Pepsny, Nicholes Pinson, Paul Roman, Matt Sivba, Roy Staten, Patrick Skyes, Broc Thorn, Alex Trottier, Ross Vagelatos and Brian Williman. This class consisted of paid firefighters and reserve status firefighters for El Cajon, Mt. Laguna and Alpine Fire Departments and the San Miguel Fire District and college enrollment students from Miramar College.
