For School Tours of the Fire Station, or to have a fire crew visit your school please call (619) 441-1619 and speak to "Jenna".

(Please Note)-Please call us at least a month in advance to schedule, and please keep in mind when a tour or visit is scheduled, that our fire crews are still in service for emergency 9-1-1 calls. If they do not arrive at the scheduled time, arrive late or have to leave early - or are not at the fire station when you arrive, please call (619) 441-1619 to re-schedule.

SAFETY EDUCATION:

For Safety Education or a career lecture for your school or group, please call our Safety Educator Monica Zech at (619) 441-1737.

Ms. Zech is available for safety talks dealing with fire safety, disaster preparedness and on traffic safety - also fire career talks. Monica is available to speak to your group, school, parenting group, company safety meeting, company conference or military facility. Just give her a call (safety is her passion) or email your request to mzech@ci.el-cajon.ca.us or monicazech@cox.net.

Note: Construction is now underway for the new Fire Station #8 to be located at 1470 E. Madison Avenue. El Cajon Fire Chief Mike Scott hosted a groundbreaking ceremony held on January 23, 2007. Completion of the new station is targeted for February 2008.
